Michelle Barishnikov, FNP

Michelle Barishnikov, FNP

 

Michelle joined Carolina Vascular in 2013.   She

is an Asheville, North Carolina native. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Psychology and Spanish.  Afterward, she attended Western Carolina University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Michelle worked at Mission Hospital as a registered nurse from 2009-2012 before attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated in 2013 with a Master of Science in Nursing.  She is accredited as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

Andy P. Brown, MD
Dr. Andy Brown joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi and his fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Daniel C. Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2016. He is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He also completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Miami, FL.

Meredith  Chivers,  PA-C

Meredith joined Carolina Vascular in 2018. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Health Science from Clemson University in 2011.  She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2013.  Meredith is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Toby C. Cole Jr., M.D.
Dr. Cole joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 1999. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed a residency in Radiology and fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Radiology in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Robert Conklin joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2009. He is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia and his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

Norris W. Crigler, M.D.
Dr. Crigler joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 1981. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and received fellowship training in Angiography and Special Procedures at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Douglas joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2002. He is a graduate of Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He completed a Residency in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also received Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois.

James R. Field, M.D.
Dr. Field joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2000. He is a graduate of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed a residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He also received fellowship training at Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia.

Jonas H. Goldstein, M.D.
Dr. Goldstein joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 1999. He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island. He received fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology at UVA Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, Virginia as well as Emory University Hospital Department of Radiology in Atlanta, Georgia.

John P. Henretta, M.D.
Dr. Henretta joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2002. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. He completed a residency in General Surgery at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He also received fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois.

Joshua Hubbard, M.D.
Dr. Joshua Hubbard joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2011. He is a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology/Vascular and Interventional Radiology and his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA

Jordan Jaynes,  FNP

Jordan joined Carolina Vascular in 2016. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University in 2011. She worked as an RN from 2011-2016. She completed her Master of Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Carolina University in 2016.  She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Kirby joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2004. He is a graduate of Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He also received fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Douglas P. MacMillan Jr., M.D.
Dr. MacMillan joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2006. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He completed a residency in General Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He also received fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

William F. Marx, M.D.
Dr. Marx joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2003. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Neuroradiology Radiology at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Short joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2001. He is a graduate of University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and he received fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology at University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Carla Stubbs, FNPCarla Stubbs, FNP

Carla joined Carolina Vascular in 2013.  She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 1992.  She completed her Master of Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Carolina University in 2002.  Carla has over 20 years of experience in the Cardiovascular field.

W. Kent Williamson, MD

Dr. Williamson is a native of Asheville, North Carolina and joined ARA Health Specialists, formerly Asheville Radiology, in 2016, after practicing in Portland, Oregon.  He was the Chief of Surgery at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Chairman of the Oregon Medical Board and Clinical Assistant Professor for Vascular Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bowman Gray School of Medicine.  He received General and Vascular Surgery residencies at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
